Email is NOT to be used for emergencies, as email will not be checked outside of normal business hours. In the event of an emergency, please utilize emergency resources such as Mobile Crisis or your nearest Emergency Room/Urgent Care. Emails will be answered within 48 BUSINESS hours. Email is appropriate to contact us regarding general questions, changing or scheduling appointments, billing or insurance questions, as well as turning in any requested forms. Due to HIPAA guidelines, we want you to know that our email is NOT a secure form of communication as it is not encrypted. Please know that if you choose to converse with us via email, you are doing so at your own discretion and Iowa Psychiatry, LLC cannot be held liable for any risk.
Please call your pharmacy to request a prescription refill. If necessary, the pharmacy will reach out to us with questions and renewal.
Please note, not all of the providers are available for seeing patients each day. We do not offer urgent care or walk-in appointments.
We do not offer 24 hour per day on-call services. If you are having an emergency after hours please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
If are you already a patient in this clinic and have an urgent question that cannot wait until the next business day, please call 515-270-2242 and follow the prompts to leave an urgent message for the on-call provider. We will return your call the same day IF received before 8PM. If the message is left after 8PM, it will be returned until the next business day. If your situation requires more urgent attention after 8PM, please go to your nearest emergency room.
